Location: Bujuuta C, Nyenga, Uganda.

Background: Andrew resides with his mother and nine siblings in Bujuuta C. Their mother, facing the challenge of providing for the large family alone after her husband’s abandonment, works tirelessly at odd jobs to sustain them.

Challenges: Limited resources make it increasingly difficult for Andrew’s mother to afford basic necessities, including education. As a result, Andrew misses out on crucial learning opportunities due to financial constraints.

 Daily life: Andrew tries to help around at home by looking after his siblings when his mum is away working. At a young age Andrew has had to grow up very quickly.
