More about this Child

Location: Bulyankulege, Nyenga, Uganda.

Background: Claire, along with her brother Philip, is under the guardianship of their grandmother in Bulyankulege due to their father’s mental illness.

Challenges: Despite their grandmother’s care, the family faces financial challenges, resulting in Claire being unable to pursue her education along with her brother.

Daily Life: Claire actively participates in household chores, including cleaning and fetching water. At times, she takes on the responsibility of watching over her younger brother.
