How did this come to our attention?

‘As the Bible commands us to care for the widows and orphans’ Hope For Every Heart Ministries has had an honor of supporting widows and orphans in Africa. This issue has become urgent due to the HIV AIDS, Ebola, and Diseases, pandemics including Famine, wars that has led to extreme poverty and lack of resources across rural areas in Rwanda and Uganda as a whole. This has resulted in increased number of widows and orphans in Rwanda and Uganda which mostly depends on men as the head of households to provide for their families.

At Hope For Every Heart we have been helping build houses for the most vulnerable widows and orphans.

During the 19th century a profusion of charitable organizations emerged to alleviate the awful conditions of the working class in the slums. The Labourer’s Friend Society, chaired by Lord Shaftesbury in the United Kingdom in 1830, aimed to improve working-class conditions.

RONALD’S JOURNEY

It was in June this year when Ronald’s father was passing through different people begging for money to help him treat and feed his son. Reaching to our office, we couldn’t let him go because the need was too much to look the other way. He narrated to us how his son Ronald was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at six months. At four year old, Ronald couldn’t chew; he could feed on only smashed foods.

Not only did he need to be treated but he needed a wheel chair and also a weekly support for taking him to hospital for training therapies. By July, Ronald’s wheel chair had been donated (Thanks to Pastor Leanna and the Sparks worldwide). This was a very touching that Ronald’s parents were overwhelmed with much joy that they almost shed tears of joy. They couldn’t believe it. With much emotion, they thanked us and the donors who helped their son have a wheelchair.

Not only did Ronald get a brand new wheel chair, but his entire family of 4 got help with a much better apartment to live in. The house is in much safer and cleaner environment and neighborhood.(Thanks to the Thigpen family). They also got them helped with food and the weekly hospital bill for Ronald’s therapy training.

THERE IS HOPE AND AN IMPROVEMENT

According to Ronald’s father (Alfred),

cerebral palsy healing process is very slow and it needs to be patient but there is an improvement that Ronald is becoming stronger than before, he tries to sit for some short time, he is also trying to speak although one can’t really hear his words but he is improving and he also tries to chew food though not yet so proper.

Alfred is so appreciative for all the support given. They always pray to God for the donors who have changed their lives forever.
