Background: Ivan Wako’s young life has been marked by the profound loss of his parents, leaving him and his older brother Edgar in the care of their grandmother.

Challenges: Ivan and Edgar face the daunting challenge of growing up without the stable presence of their parents. Hindered by the absence of stable schooling and the looming shadows of adversity, they are forced to confront life’s uncertainties at a tender age.

Education: Despite the challenges they face, Ivan is currently attending Primary 2, determined to continue his education and carve out a brighter path for himself and his brother.

Daily Life: In the serene village of Bulyankulege, Ivan’s daily life revolves around supporting his grandmother in any way he can. Whether it’s assisting with chores around the house or helping tend to the crops in the fields, Ivan is always ready to lend a helping hand and contribute to the well-being of their small family unit.
