Background: Elijah is looked after by his grandparents, who also care for seven other children. With both his father and mother absent, his mother working hard in Kampala to support the family, the responsibility of raising Elijah falls heavily on his grandparents’ shoulders. Unfortunately, life is far from easy for Elijah’s grandmother, who battles diabetes and struggles to provide for her grandchildren.

Daily Life: Elijah’s daily life revolves around his studies and helping out his grandparents. Elijah is in middle class and his education is frequently interrupted due to financial constraints.

Dreams: Despite the obstacles he faces, Elijah is a passionate young man with big dreams. He aspires to become a doctor, inspired by the desire to help his grandparents who constantly battle health issues.
