Challenges: Despite their grandmother’s unwavering dedication, her frail health and limited mobility present obstacles, making it challenging to provide for the family’s needs. Rose attends Primary 2, eager to learn and grow despite the hardships they face. However, the family’s financial constraints and the unpredictable nature of their circumstances threaten to disrupt her education, underscoring the challenges of pursuing academic success in their rural community.

Daily Life: In the serene village of Bulyankulege, Rose’s days are spent in the company of her grandmother and twin sister, Winnie. Together, they tend to a small garden, gathering fruits and vegetables to sustain their family. Despite her shy demeanor, Rose finds joy and purpose in helping her grandmother, cherishing the quiet moments shared with her family as they navigate life’s trials with resilience and grace.
