Steven KyembaSPONSOR ME 

Location: Bulyankulege, Nyenga, Uganda

Background: Steven has been under the care of his grandmother since the age of two, following the passing of his father. His mother’s whereabouts remain unknown to his grandmother, leaving Steven solely in her care. 

Challenges: Living in a small village with limited resources, Steven’s grandmother struggles to provide for their family. She sustains them through a small sweet banana business and farming on a small plot of land. However, the income generated is often insufficient to cover their basic needs, including Steven’s school fees. As a result, Steven’s education is frequently disrupted, with him being in and out of school. 

Daily Life: Despite the hardships, Steven remains resilient and helpful around the house. He assists his grandmother with various chores such as collecting firewood and setting up bananas for sale. 

Dreams: Steven’s dreams of receiving a consistent education are hindered by financial constraints. Yet, he remains hopeful for a better future, aspiring to complete his education and pursue opportunities that will uplift his family out of poverty.
